Abstract:Ta diplomska naloga prinaša pogled na vlogo žensk v obveščevalnih službah. Mnogi mislijo, da lahko že sam zunanji videz ženski, podobno kot v vsakdanjem življenju, tudi v tej dejavnosti prinese veliko prednosti. Vendar so v obveščevalnih službah mnenja o tem deljena. Na eni strani velja mnenje, da so ženske – tajne agentke – zaupanja vredne sodelavke obveščevalnih služb. Po drugi strani pa naj bi veljalo, da ženske prav zaradi svoje čutnosti in občutljivosti, predvsem pa ženskih čarov, naj ne bi bile primerne za to delo. A zgodovina potrjuje drugače. Ena najbolj razvpitih agentk je bila Mata Hari, eksotična plesalka, ki je svoje čare znala dobro uporabiti, da je prišla do želenih informacij. Vendar sta jo njena nemirna narava in pohlep po denarju stala življenja. Vsekakor pa se je njen lik zapisal v zgodovino. V diplomski nalogi bomo poskusili ugotoviti prednosti in pomanjkljivosti ženske, ki jih ima pri ukvarjanju z obveščevalno dejavnostjo. Zanimalo nas bodo predvsem, ali so »ženski čari« tisti, ki ji pomagajo pri pridobivanju informacij.

Title:Pravi obraz Mata Hari
Abstract:The thesis explores the roles of females in the intelligence services. Many believe that the outer appearance alone, as in everyday life, also in this field brings many advantages. Opinions on this in the intelligence services are not so clear. On one hand, it is believed that female secret agents are trustworthy, while on the other, because of the female sensuality, sensitivity and female charm, it is considered that women are not suitable for this line of work. The latter is in contrast to what history has proven. Mata Hari, one of the most famous agents, was an exotic dancer who used her charms to acquire certain information. Despite the fact that her restless nature and greed cost her her life, she went down in history as legendary, while her real life story still remains a mystery. In the following thesis we will present the advantages and disadvantages of females in the area of secret services. We will mainly focus on the question whether female charms are what help female agents acquire information.
