Abstract:V svojem diplomskem delu z naslovom Zemljiška gospostva v okolici Zgornje Polskave v popisu imetnikov hiš/kmečkih posestnih enot iz leta 1754 obravnavam transliteracijo gradiva (fasije) uradnega popisa podložnih hiš iz leta 1754, ki je bil izveden v času vladarice Marije Terezije. V diplomskem delu so s transliteracijo in analizo zajeta tri zemljiška gospostva: zemljiški gospostvi Zgornja Polskava in Gromberg ter posest župnije sv. Štefana na Spodnji Polskavi. Popis ne predstavlja štetja prebivalstva, kot ga poznamo danes, temveč imenski seznam imetnikov podložnih hiš oziroma kmečkih posestnih enot z njihovim statusom. Med popisanimi v seznamu najdemo male, srednje in velike kmetije oziroma po tedanji kategorizaciji četrtinske, polovične, tričetrtinske in cele kmetije, gostače, kočarje in vinogradniške podložnike oziroma viničarje; kot dve izjemi se med slednjimi na Spodnji Polskavi pojavita tudi dva gostača s poklicem. S tem popisom so želeli priti do splošnega pregleda prebivalstva, hkrati pa so te podatke potrebovali za izvedbo reform na področju vojaškega nabornega sistema. S pomočjo teh podatkov lahko vsaj delno osvetlimo poseljenost posameznih krajev, njihovo razčlenitev in socialni položaj prebivalstva sredi 18. stoletja.

Title:THE GROUND ESTATES IN THE SURROUNDING AREA OF ZGORNJA POLSKAVA IN THE YEAR 1754
Abstract:My graduation thesis under the title The ground estates in the surrounding area of Zgornja Polskava in the year 1754 deals with transliteration of material of the official census of subject properties in 1754, which was carried out in the era of the ruler Maria Theresa. Three ground estates are included in transliteration and analysis in this thesis: ground estates Zgornja Polskava and Gromberg, and properties of the parish of St. Stephen in Spodnja Polskava. The census does not equal the population census as we know it today, but introduces the nominal list of owners of subject houses or agricultural ground estates with their statuses. Among them we can find small, medium and big farms, or as they were classified in that era: quadruple, half, three-quarter and whole farms, tenants, cottagers and vineyard subjects. As an exception, there also appear two tenants with profession in Spodnja Polskava. With this census, the government wanted to get the overview of the entire population. It was also used as a source for the upcoming military reforms concerning the draft system.. We can learn about the population density in particular villages, their division, and social statuses of population in the middle of the 18th century at least in part.
