Abstract:
Z analizo relevantnih pisnih virov smo dobili temeljitejši vpogled v obravnavano tematiko.

Title:
THE INFLUENCE OF NURSING STAFF SATISFACTION ON MOTIVATION
Abstract:
In the thesis, the factors that influence employee satisfaction are presented followed by the research into nursing personnel satisfaction at the University Medical Centre Maribor. The purpose of the master's thesis was to become aware of the importance of intangible factors to raise motivation and, consequently, employee satisfaction, thus contributing to the theory and practice in the area. In the theoretical part, the descriptive research method was used to identify theoretical starting points for further research. We also used the compilation method, taking on the views and insights of individual domestic and foreign authors. By analysing relevant written sources we obtained a closer insight into the subject matter. In the empirical part of the master's thesis, a questionnaire was used to gather views and opinions of the respondents. The survey results were quantity analysed and graphically presented. An analytical approach was used to determine the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of nursing personnel. The employee dissatisfaction is mainly the result of material factors, probably influenced by the current economic crisis in Slovenia and elsewhere in the world. Nevertheless, there is still much room for improvement in the area of intangible factors, that affect the satisfaction of the employees. As a result, we developed a model solution to increase nursing personnel satisfaction in the University Medical Centre Maribor.
