Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi smo preučili uporabnost in praktičnost prosto dostopnih spletnih prevajalnikov Google Translate, Amebis Presis in Bing Translator pri prevajanju besedila s področja tehnologije iz angleškega v slovenski jezik. Uporabnost in razumevanje prevedenega besedila smo preverili s pomočjo ankete, katero so izpolnjevali študenti Fakultete za računalništvo in matematiko Univerze v Mariboru, in nato na podlagi odgovorov izvedli analizo, predstavili in po kakovosti ter uporabnosti spletne prevajalnike tudi razvrstili.

ANALYSIS OF ONLINE MACHINE TRANSLATION SERVICES
Abstract:
We analyzed the usability and practicality of free online machine translator services Google Translate, Amebis Presis and Bing Translator in translating texts from English to Slovenian in the field of technology. We assessed the usability and understanding of translated texts with the help of an online survey filled out by students of Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Maribor. We analyzed the survey data and accordingly classified and presented the translation services by usability and quality.
