Abstract:
V diplomskem delu predstavljam metode in orodja, s katerimi organizacije izboljšujejo kakovost procesov in proizvodov, povečujejo produktivnost ter zmanjšujejo stroške, in tako dosegajo poslovno odličnost. Na začetku diplomskega dela sem splošno opredelil in predstavil kakovost, merjenje kakovosti proizvodov in storitev, sisteme kakovosti in celovito obvladovanje kakovosti. V nadaljevanju sem predstavil nekatere izmed bolj uporabljenih metod in orodij za zagotavljanje kakovosti. Opisal sem njihove prednosti, področja uporabe ter postopek izvedbe.

Overview of Methods and tools for quality assurance
Abstract:
In this thesis I am presenting methods and tools bywhich organizations are improving the quality of processes and products, increase productivity and reduce costs so as to achieve business excellence. At the beginning of the thesis I am describing the term quality, measuring quality of products and services, quality systems and total quality management. In addition i am presenting some of the most used methods and tools for quality assurance. I am describing their advantages, scope and process of implementation.
