Abstract:
Leta 2011 smo v Sadjarskem centru Maribor izvedli poskus redčenja cvetov in plodičev jablane. Za primerjavo smo vzeli standardno kemično redčenje in različne kombinacije mehanskega in kemičnega redčenja. Zaradi zmanjšanja vpliva okolja in naklona terena so bila poskusna drevesa izbrana v šestih ponovitvah in v osmih obravnavanjih: 1. kontrola – neredčena drevesa, 2. ročno redčenje, 3. mehansko redčenje - Tree Darwin s 6 km/h in 250 obrati/min, 4. mehansko redčenje - Tree Darwin s 8 km/h in 350 obrati/min, 5. standardno kemično redčenje – Amid Thin v koncentraciji 1,2 kg/ha pri debelini plodičev 5 mm in nato še MaxCel v koncentraciji 4 l/ha pri debelini plodičev 14-16 mm, 6. BA (MaxCel) 4 l/ha, v 7. obravnavanje je bilo združeno tretje in šesto obravnavanje, v 8. obravnavanje je bilo združeno četrto in šesto obravnavanje.

Title:
Mechanical and chemical thinning of apples (Malus domestica Borkh.) cv. 'Pinova'
Abstract:
In 2011, an experiment on thinning of apple trees was performed in the Centre for Fruit Growing Maribor. A standard chemical thinning and various combinations of mechanical and chemical thinning were elaborated and compared. The test was performed using a ‘Pinova’ cultivar which was grafted on the base M9. Apple orchard where the experiment was elaborated has irrigation and sprinkling system and anti-hail net. The aim of the trial was to compare the effectiveness of mechanical thinning using machine Tree Darwin and chemical thinning. To reduce the impact of environment and slope of the field, the trees have been selected in six repetitions and eight modes: 1. Control – unthinned trees, 2. Manual thinning, 3. Mechanical thinning - Darwin Tree of 6 km/h and 250 rpm/min, 4. mechanical thinning - Darwin Tree of 8 km/h and 350 rpm/min, 5. standard chemical thinning - Amid Thin in increment of 5 mm and a concentration of 1.2 kg/ha, and then the increment MaxCel 14-16 mm in a concentration of 4 l/ha, 6. BA (MaxCel) 4 l/ha, 7. joined third and six treatman, 8. joined fourth and sixth treatment. Considering to the number of fruits, weight and quality of the crop, we achieve the desired results in the combined use of the machine Tree Darwin with 350 rpm/min at 8 km/h and the addition of resource for thinning MaxCel (11 pounds/tree, 180 g, 84 % fruit of the first quality). Exclusively mechanical thinning decreased the number of foetuses to control 61 % (treatment 3) or 35 % (treatment 4), but the share of the fruits of the first grade in these cases, only 35 % and 69 %.
