Abstract:Delo uvodoma opisuje znane izvedbe pretvornikov s korekcijo faktorja moči za enosmerni in dvosmerni pretok energije. V zadnjem delu so predstavljeni rezultati meritev na simulacijskem in eksperimentalnem modelu. Analiza rezultatov zajema oceno doseganja napovedanih lastnosti in morebitna odstopanja ter sugestije za nadaljnje izboljšave.

Title:Advanced 50 kVA three-phase bidirectional active IGBT AC/AC inverter with high switching frequency and high efficiency
Abstract:Typical power factor correction system configurations for unidirectional and bidirectional power flow are presented. Benefits and drawbacks of presented configurations are presented. Necessary elements for safe and reliable operation are described. Parameters and limitations for advanced system construction are estimated and a chosen configuration is presented. For component stress evaluation, dimension estimation and selection, reliable and stabile system operation, a simulation with MATLAB/Simulink model is performed. The thesis follows the development of a threephase active frontend rectifier with power factor correction, and threephase inverter integrated power system, from the simulation stage to the realisation of the power and control hardware and stability modelling. A compact hardware demonstrator is presented. A method for switch number transition minimisation is presented and evaluated. Together with embedded sensors for electric and nonelectric signals, a microcontroller with specific software and communication with the master system for safe and reliable operation is designed. Simulation and experimental results of the proposed system are given.
