Abstract:V diplomskem delu, z naslovom Poetika proze Marka Sosiča, so predstavljeni romani, kratke zgodbe, novele in avtobiografska gledališka kronika pisatelja Marka Sosiča. Prikazane so značilnosti pisanja Marka Sosiča različnih literarnih vrst (romani, novele, kratke zgodbe, avtobiografska gledališka kronika), pisateljeva ustvarjalna in njegova osebnostna rast.

Title:POETICS PROSE OF MARKO SOSIČ
Abstract:My Diploma Work “Poetics Prose of Marko Sosič” presents the novels, short stories, novellas and autobiographic theatre chronicle of the writer Marko Sosič. The analysis of his narrative texts include the following works: Rosa na steklu (1991), Tisoč dni, dvesto noči (1996), Balerina, balerina (1997), Tito amor mio (2005), Iz zemlje in sanj (2011) and Ki od daleč prihajaš v mojo bližino (2012). The analysis has been divided into substance, motives, internal and external structure (the narrator, literary characters, literary period, literary space), as well as topics and ideas. The author's childhood was strongly influenced by the Second World War, so autobiographical impact of war can be read in his works (too). Distant observation of the world, nature, people ... can be watched, too. On the other hand his works contain a lot of fantastic features as well. The author takes material for his works from his stories as well as from the stories of friends and relatives. The main literary characters are eccentrics, outcasts, who cope with their lives in a very different way and each and everyone fighting their own war. All the stories take place in Trieste and its surroundings, along the Slovenian-Italian border. The characteristics of Marko Sosič’s writing of various literary genres (novels, novellas, short stories, autobiographical theatre chronicle) and his growth as a writer, as well as his personal growth through his work, have been shown.
Keywords:: Marko Sosič, novel, novella, short story, chronicle, postmodern.
