Abstract:
Zasebno šolstvo je poleg šol, ki jih je ustanovila država, del mreže javnega šolstva v Sloveniji. Najvišji odstotek teh šol predstavljajo katoliške šole. Glavni namen diplomskega dela je predstavitev državnih formalno-političnih okvirov in navodil Kongregacije za katoliško vzgojo v Vatikanu, ki jih te šole pri svojem delovanju upoštevajo. V drugi del naloge je zajeta konkretna predstavitev štirih katoliških gimnazij v Sloveniji – Gimnazija Želimlje, Škofijska gimnazija Vipava, Škofijska klasična gimnazija in Škofijska gimnazija Antona Martina Slomška; in katoliške Osnovne šole Alojzija Šuštarja. Opredeljene so njihove specifične lastnosti in dejavnosti, po katerih se razlikujejo od javnih šol in med sabo. Tukaj gre predvsem za dodatne vzgojne komponente programov, verski pouk in duhovno naravnane dejavnosti omenjenih šol.

Title:
PRIVATE CATHOLIC SCHOOLS IN SLOVENIA
Abstract:
Private schools are a part of public educational system in Slovenia, besides public schools that are established by a state. Most of them are Catholic schools. The main purpose of this graduation thesis is to present the formal political instructions from country and directives from Vatican Congregation for Catholic Education for Catholic schools. In the second part of the graduation thesis four Catholic secondary schools in Slovenia are introduced – Gimnazija Želimlje, Škofijska gimnazija Vipava, Škofijska klasična gimnazija and Škofijska gimnazija Antona Martina Slomška; and Catholic primary school Osnovna šola Alojzija Šuštarja. Specific characteristics and activities that distinguish them from public schools and one from another are stated. These are additional educational program components, religious education and spiritual activities of those schools.
