Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi smo analizirali črne neraztopljene delce, ki so se izločili iz pitne vode. Glede na literaturne navedbe bi se v vodi lahko nahajale spojine z železom ali manganom, ki bi se izločale skupaj z vodnim kamnom. Druga možnost je tvorba biofilma. Opravili smo fizikalno-kemijske analize vode ter mikroskopske analize in posneli IR spektre izločenih delcev iz vode. Rezultati fizikalno-kemijskih analiz so pokazali, da je voda trda ter ne vsebuje železovih in manganovih snovi. Iz IR spektrov smo določili prisotnost proteinov, ki so bistveni sestavni del celične stene bakterij, zato smo zaključili, da gre za izločanje vodnega kamna, obdanega s črnim biofilmom.

Title:
THE ANALYSIS OF SUSPENDED SOLIDS IN HOUSEHOLDS' DRINKING WATER
Abstract:
The analyses of small black particles which precipitated from households’ drinking water were performed in diploma work. Due to the literature review, iron and manganesse compounds could precipitate from water or biofilm could be formed. Physico-chemical analyses of water as well as microscopic examination and IR spectras of precipitation were performed. Physico-chemical analyses showed that the water is quite hard, but it did not contain any iron or manganese compounds. IR spectra showed the presence of proteins in precipitation. Proteins are the major compound of bacterias’ cellular membrane. We can conclude that biofilm attached to the CaCO3 precipitated from water.
