Abstract:
Diplomska naloga preučuje načine optične komunikacije. S pomočjo optičnih vlaken in povezave med njim lahko zagotovimo večje prenose podatkov znotraj lokalnih in globalnih omrežij. Diplomska naloga proučuje načine izdelave optičnih omrežij in uporabljene vrste komunikacije po optičnih vlaknih. Cilj te diplomske naloge je teoretična predstavitev vzpostavitve optičnega omrežja ter posameznih komponent le teh in sistemska administracija omrežja.

OPTICAL NETWORKS AND RELATED SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
Abstract:
The diploma paper examines the existing fiber optic networks. Using optical fibers and connections between them, higher data transfers could be obtained within the local and broadband networks. This paper discusses the manufacturing methods used in building optical networks and the types of communication through optical fibers. The aim of this diploma is a theoretical presentation of the establishment of an optical network system and its administration.
