Title:KONKURENČNOST TUŠMOBILA D.O.O. NA SLOVENSKEM TRGU PONUDNIKOV MOBILNE TELEFONIJE

Abstract:Mobilne komunikacije so na slovenskem trgu relativno mlada panoga. Kljub temu da so pri nas komaj dobri dve desetletji, se je število ponudnikov v tem času zelo povečalo. Povečalo se ni samo število ponudnikov, temveč se drastično dviguje tudi število uporabnikov mobilne telefonije, skupaj z njihovimi zahtevami po inovacijah. Prvi ponudniki mobilne telefonije so v začetku ponujali samo pogovore po mobilnem telefonu, sedaj pa ponujajo že pošiljanje sporočil, prenos podatkov, mobilni dostop storitev na internetu in podobno. Včasih je mobilni telefon predstavljal luksuzni pripomoček, danes pa je nepogrešljiv. Tako mlajši kot starejši si ne predstavljamo življenja brez mobilnega telefona – postal je del življenja skoraj vsakega državljana. Na slovenskem trgu je zaslediti vedno več ponudnikov mobilne telefonije, le-ti ponujajo različne storitve po različnih cenah. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge smo raziskovali konkurenco mobilnih operaterjev na našem trgu. Podrobno smo pregledali ponudbe posameznih operaterjev. Predvideli smo, kateri paket bi bil cenovno in ponudbeno najbolj primeren za tipičnega predstavnika uporabnikov. V nadaljevanju smo z anketo primerjali uporabo in namembnost uporabe mobilnih telefonov pri posameznih uporabnikih, s čimer smo pridobili povratno informacijo o mnenju uporabnikov mobilne telefonije. Glavni namen naše naloge je ugotoviti, kateri ponudnik ponuja najcenejše storitve in kakšno je mnenje uporabnikov.

Title:COMPETITIVENESS OF TUŠMOBIL D.O.O. IN THE SLOVENE MOBILE PHONE PROVIDER MARKET
Abstract:The market of mobile communications in Slovenia is relatively new. Despite the fact that it only appeared two decades ago, the number of mobile network operators increased rapidly during this time. In addition to this, the number of mobile phone users also increased drastically, along with their demand for new innovations. While the first mobile network operators started by offering only telephone calls, their range of services now includes sending text messages, data transfer, mobile access to internet services etc. When it first appeared, the mobile phone was considered a luxury. Nowadays, both the young and the old cannot imagine life without it, as it has become an intrinsic part in the life of each and every one of us. The number of mobile network providers in Slovenia is constantly increasing, with each providing a different range of services at different prices. The empirical part of this thesis focuses on the competition between mobile network operators in the Slovenian market. For this purpose we conducted a thorough study of each individual operator. We made an estimate on which package best suits a typical mobile phone user with regards in terms of service and price. Additionally, we conducted a survey to compare the use of mobile phones and the purpose of using a mobile phone among individual mobile phone users. This survey also provided a means of gathering information about the users' opinion on mobile phone technology. The main goals of this thesis were to identify which operator offers services at the lowest price and gathering information on mobile phone users.
