Abstract:V diplomskem seminarju z naslovom Informacijska prenova nabavnega procesa na primeru velikega proizvodnega podjetja smo se osredotočili na prenovo poslovnega procesa z uvedbo celovite informacijske rešitve. Kot celovito informacijsko rešitev smo uporabili poslovno rešitev Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Diplomski seminar nam tako predstavi teoretične okvirje celovitih informacijskih rešitev, elektronskega poslovanja, poslovnih procesov in nabave. Celoto teoretičnega znanja pa diplomski seminar zaključi s primerom uvedbe nove poslovne rešitve na primeru simuliranega podjetja. Podjetja, katera želijo dandanes ob tako veliki konkurenci, ki je na trgu, ostati konkurenčni, poslovati gospodarno in biti čim bolj produktivni, morajo pri svojem poslovanju uporabljati celovito informacijsko rešitev. Ob tem, ko uporabljajo rešitev, pa morajo izkoriščati tudi možnosti, katere jim omogoča informacijska tehnologija. Rešitve ERP danes podjetjem omogočajo vpogled v poslovanje podjetja in hranjenje pomembnih podatkov na enem mestu.

Title:PURCHASING PROCESS REDESIGN: A CASE OF A LARGE MANUFACTURING COMPANY
Abstract:In the diploma seminar Purchasing process redesign: a case of a large manufacturing company we focused on the business process reengineering by introducing a comprehensive information solution, using the example of a large manufacturing company. Business solution Microsoft Dynamics NAV was used as a comprehensive information solution. The diploma seminar presents us with the theoretical framework of comprehensive information solutions, electronic commerce, business processes and purchase. The theoretical part of the diploma seminar is concluded by presenting the case of introducing a new business solution, using the example of a simulated company. Companies that want to stay competitive, operate economically, and be as productive as possible despite the extensive competition on the market, have to use a comprehensive information solution in their operating activities. Besides using the information solution they also have to make effective use of the possibilities that the information technology provides them. Nowadays ERP solutions enable companies an insight in their operating activities and storage of important information in one place.
