Abstract:
Poslovna inteligenca omogoča dnevno spremljanje vseh vidikov poslovanja organizacije. S pomočjo rednih poročil in pregledov lahko vodstvo podjetja v skoraj realnem času spremlja napredek delovanja podjetja in doseganje strateških ciljev. Mobilna poslovna inteligenca je alternativa tehnologiji poslovne inteligence na namiznih računalnikih. Prednost mobilnih naprav pred namiznimi računalniki je v prenosljivosti in povezljivosti. Tako lahko uporabnik do ključnih podatkov dostopa neodvisno od njegovega trenutnega položaja. V diplomskem delu bomo predstavili možnosti spremljanja izvajanja poslovnih procesov s pomočjo nadzornih plošč, raziskali bomo trenutne rešitve na področju mobilnih naprav in izdelali lastno nadzorno ploščo.

Title:
DEVELOPMENT OF MOBILE DASHBOARDS
Abstract:
Business intelligence enables end-users to monitor every aspect of a given organizations operating potential. By use of up-to-date reports and analyses, executives can oversee the general progress of their organization and the percentage of the achieved strategic goals in almost real-time. An alternative to the before mentioned »desktop targeted« technology is the mobile version of business intelligence. The advantages of the latter are definitely increased portability and connectivity. This way, the end-user can obtain any kind of information at a given point in time, regardless of his or her current location. This diploma thesis stands to introduce different approaches to monitoring the business process flows by utilizing control panels or »dashboards«, to present various solutions, implemented for mobile devices and of course, to demonstrate a custom dashboard implementation.
