Abstract:Vsaka zvrst glasbe posebej zahteva svoj način poslušanja in ustvarja svojstveno razpoloženje. Poslušanje glasbe je ena najpomembnejših dejavnosti za doživljanje, sprejemanje in razumevanje glasbenih vsebin. Vpliva na človekov glasbeni, estetski, moralni, telesni in duševni razvoj. Pomembno je, da smo že kot otroci postavljeni v »zdravo« glasbeno okolje, za katerega poskrbijo starši in ostali pomembni drugi (vzgojitelji, učitelji …). S tem, kako glasba vpliva na človeka in kakšen je njun odnos, pa se ukvarjajo različne znanstvene discipline, kot na primer: estetika, sociologija glasbe, psihologija glasbe, glasbena pedagogika … Skozi diplomsko delo spoznamo vse naštete znanstvene discipline, ki nam pomagajo pri boljšem razumevanju pomena glasbe. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kakšen je interes študentov do poslušanja različnih zvrsti glasbe. Zanimalo nas je, katere glasbene zvrsti poslušajo študentje, ali so v otroštvu poslušali glasbo skupaj s starši, katere glasbene skupine oziroma izvajalci so posameznikom najbolj všeč, za katere menijo, da izvajajo kvalitetno glasbo, in to, katere koncerte obiskujejo študenti ter v kolikšni meri. Izsledki so pokazali, da večina študentov najraje posluša pop in rock glasbo in da je več kot polovica študentov v otroštvu skupaj s starši poslušala glasbo, ki so jo starši izbrali po svojem okusu, ne oziraje se na to, da bi poslušali umetnostno vredno glasbo. Pomembno je, da je okolje, v katerem kot otroci odraščamo, spodbudno. Starši se morajo zavedati, kako pomembno je, da otroka spodbujajo in mu razvijajo interes do poslušanja kakovostne, umetniško vredne glasbe, saj kakor smo ugotovili, glasbene izkušnje v otroštvu vplivajo na oblikovanje interesa do glasbe v kasnejših letih.

Title:THE INTEREST OF STUDENTS TOWARDS THE LISTENING OF VARIOUS MUSIC TYPES
Abstract:Each kind of music requires the specified mode of listening and creates a unique mood. Listening to music is one of the most important activity to experience, accept and understand music contents. It influences human music, aesthetic, moral, physical and mental development. It is important that we as children experience a healthy music environment established by our parents and others (educators, teachers etc.). By means of music influence on human and their relationship various scientific disciplines i.e. aesthetics, music sociology, music psychology, music pedagogy etc. In the whole the present study introduces all the above stated scientific disciplines helping us to understand the meaning of music better. The purpose of the present study was to found out the interest of students towards the listening of various music kinds. During the study I was interested in music kinds listened by students, the fact whether they were listening to music together with their parents, which music groups resp. musicians are according to their opinion the best and which concerts are the most visited by the students. The study displayed that the majority of students prefer pop and rock, the half of the students listened to music in their childhood together with their parents who chose it according to their taste regardless of the artistic music value. The stimulative environment of our childhood is very important. Due to the fact that it was found out that child early music experience influences the music interest in the adulthood the parents should be aware it is noteworthy to stimulate the child as well as to develop his or her interest towards quality artistic music.
