Abstract:
Diplomsko delo obravnava meritve radioaktivne aktivnosti zraka v Nuklearni elektrarni Krško z novim merilnikom partikulatov, jodov in žlahtnih plinov. V začetku dela so na kratko opisane fizikalne osnove in detektorji ionizirajočega sevanja, kratek opis Nuklearne elektrarne Krško, izvori radioaktivnih snovi v Nuklearni elektrarni Krško in osnovni razlogi za zamenjavo starega merilnega sistema. V nadaljevanju je predstavljen novi merilnik, njegova postavitev, meritve in vloga rezultatov meritev. Razloženo je tudi vzdrževanje in umerjanje merilnika. Na koncu je podana analiza izboljšav glede na star merilni sistem.

CONTROL OF RADIOACTIVE CONTAMINATION OF AIR IN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT KRŠKO
Abstract:
The diploma deals with measurements of radioactive air activity in the Nuclear Power Plant Krško with a new particulate, iodine and noble gas monitor. At the beginning of the work there are briefly described physical basis of radiation and detectors, a brief description of the Nuclear Power Plant Krško, sources of radioactive material in the Nuclear Power Plant Krško and the basic reasons for replacing the old measuring system. Below is introduced the new monitor, its installation, measurement and application of measurement results. Also the maintenance and calibration of the meter are explained. At the end is analysis of the improvements over the old measuring system.
