Abstract:
Podjetje, ki želi uspešno poslovati, mora proizvajati hitro, racionalno in fleksibilno. Ker je konkurenca na trgu vse večja in se temu posledično trgi hitreje razvijajo in prilagajajo, moramo v celoti ugoditi kupčevim željam, v kolikor želimo ostati konkurenčni. V svoji diplomski nalogi bom z uvedbo metode SMED na obdelovalnem centru DOOSAN skušal skrajšati čase menjave orodij, kar bi posledično pomenilo manjšo ceno izdelka ter povečano produktivnost stroja. V nalogi bom predstavil potrebno teoretično znanje ter praktični primer na navpičnem obdelovalnem centru DOOSAN, kjer sem metodo SMED uporabil. Končni rezultat po primerjanju obstoječega in novega stanja bo potrdil ali ovrgel metodo SMED za učinkovito.

Title:
Introduction of the SMED method for product family manufacturing on machining centre DOOSAN
Abstract:
A company, who wishes to do good business, must run a fast, rational and flexible production. Because the competition on the markets is growing, therefore the markets are developing and adapting faster, we have to fully please the customers wishes if we want to stay competitive. In my thesis, I will try to shorten the time required for the exchange of tools with the SMED method, wich will consequently mean a lower product price and a higher productivity rate of the machine. I will apply this method at the processing centre DOOSAN. In this thesis, I will present the required theorethical knowledge and a practical example on a vertical processing machine DOOSAN, where I applied the SMED method. The final results after the comparison of the current and new stage, will confirm the SMED method as either effective or ineffective.
