Abstract:
Preobremenjevanje poklicnih voznikov je v današnjem času problem skoraj v vseh transportnih podjetjih, saj je njihov cilj le, da bo prevozni proces izveden z nizkimi stroški in v čim krajšem času, to pa pomeni, da vodilni za dosego uspeha čim bolj izkoristijo svoje delavce in jih s tem preobremenijo. Preobremenjevanje pa vsekakor vpliva na njihovo nezadovoljstvo, na neučinkovitost njihovega dela in ne nazadnje tudi na uspešnost poslovanja podjetja. Najpogostejši problem, s katerim se soočajo poklicni vozniki zaradi preobremenjevanja, je utrujenost, ki je po mnogih nacionalnih raziskavah tudi najpogostejša zdravstvena težava v kopenskem transportu. Prav utrujenost pa je ena izmed glavnih dejavnikov za povzročitev prometne nesreče ali udeležbo v njej, saj ima negativen vpliv na človekove sposobnosti, ki so še kako pomembne za varno upravljanje z motornim vozilom.

Impact of overwork of professional drivers on national security
Abstract:
Overworking of professional drivers has caused problems in a majority of transportation companies. This is happening because their aim is to make the transport process as fast and cost-efficient as possible. For instance, in order for management to succeed, the companies must exploit their workers to the point of exhaustion. Overworking leads to employees’ dissatisfaction, ineffectiveness in their work, as well as the overall efficiency of the company. The most common problem faced by professional drivers due to overworking is fatigue, which is in many national studies, the most common health problem in the inland transport. Also, fatigue is one of the main factors responsible for causing traffic accidents due to its negative impact on natural human capabilities, which are important to safely operate a motor vehicle.
