Abstract:Slovenija sodi po številu prometnih nesreč nad evropsko povprečje in hkrati ne sledi doseganju ciljev, ki so začrtani v Nacionalnem programu prometne varnosti. Ker želimo vsi udeleženci cestnega prometa imeti takšen prometni sistem, ki zadovoljuje naše vsakodnevne potrebe in pričakovanja predvsem z vidika zagotavljanja ustrezne prometne varnosti, je treba na omenjenem področju storiti še veliko. V magistrskem delu dokazujemo pomen izboljšanja prometne varnosti z uvajanjem različnih ukrepov. Z načrtovanimi prometno-gradbenimi rešitvami želimo izboljšati varnost na lokalni in nacionalni ravni. Odprava črnih točk na cestnem omrežju je torej prioritetnega pomena. Z evidentiranjem nevarnih mest, ugotavljanjem vzrokov prometnih nesreč, izvedbo ukrepov za umirjanje prometa, s pravilno namestitvijo prometne signalizacije in z drugimi aktivnostmi želimo preprečiti napake udeležencev v prometu, saj so vzrok za prometne nesreče z najhujšimi posledicami. Cilj, ki ga želimo doseči, je zmanjšanje števila črnih točk in vseh drugih nevarnih mest na prometnicah ter s tem posledično ohranjanje človeških življenj.

Title:Black spots on slovenian roads
Abstract:Slovenia is above the European average with its number of road accidents and at the same time does not follow the reaching of goals defined in the National Programme of Road Safety. All road users wish to have a traffic system that follows their every day needs and expectations concerning suitable road safety , so there is still a lot to be done on this subject. The aim of this MA thesis is to prove the significance of road safety improvement by taking different measures. We are trying to improve road safety on local and national level by planned traffic – construction solutions. Getting rid of the black spots is the top priority. Our wish is to prevent the mistakes that are the cause of accidents with the most tragic consequences. Steps taken go from keeping records of the black spots, finding the causes of accidents, taking measures for slowing down traffic to proper installation of road signs and other activities. The aim that we are trying to reach is reducing the number of the black spots and other dangerous road sections and consequently saving people's lives.
