Abstract:
Skladiščno poslovanje je zahtevno področje, ki ga je potrebno vključiti v celotno organizacijo podjetja, zagotoviti ustrezno organiziranost in preglednost dela, zanesljivost in točnost opravljanja posameznih nalog ter stalno in tekočo informiranost. V magistrskemu delu je podrobneje predstavljeno skladiščno poslovanje transportnega podjetja. Predvsem sta obravnavana dva vidika skladiščnega poslovanja, in sicer organizacija prekladanja tovornih vozil ter zbirno skladiščenje blaga. Problematika je bila prepoznana v neučinkoviti organizaciji prekladanja tovornih vozil ter potrebi po skladiščnem objektu za nemoteno prekladanje in skladiščenje blaga. Na podlagi teoretičnih osnov ter raziskave skladiščnega poslovanja pri konkurenčnih podjetij so bile predlagane rešitve za učinkovitejši način skladiščnega poslovanja. Kot glavna rešitev na področju organizacije prekladanja tovornih vozil se je izkazalo računalniško podprto orodje, ki zagotavlja hitro in enostavno izdelavo plana nakladanja, hkrati pa omogoča tudi enostaven prenos informacij med zaposlenimi. Na področju skladiščenja blaga je bil predlagan skladiščni objekt z vso potrebno skladiščno infrastrukturo, ki zagotavlja hitre in enostavne manipulacije ter vpliva na učinkovitejše skladiščno poslovanje.

OPTIMIZATION OF WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS OF A TRANSPORT COMPANY
Abstract:
Warehouse operations is a challenging area that needs to be included in the overall organization of the company, ensured a proper organization and transparency of the work, reliability and accuracy of performing individual tasks and constant, fluent provision of information. This Master’s thesis contains detailed presentation of warehouse operations of a transport company. Furthermore, there are two aspects of warehouse operations that are presented; organization of handling trucks and cumulative storage of materials. The problem has been recognized in ineffective organization of handling trucks and in need for storage facilities for smooth handling and storage of goods. Based on the theory and research of warehouse operations at rival companies, there were suggested solutions for a more efficient way of warehouse operations. As the main solution for the organization of handling vehicles it has proven to be a computer-based tool that provides a fast and simple design of a plan of loading, but also allows an easy transfer of information between employees. In terms of storage of goods, a storage facility has been proposed with all necessary warehouse infrastructure, that provides fast and easy manipulations and affect the efficient storage management.
