Abstract:
Predstavili smo zdravstveno nego otroka z bolečino v vseh štirih faza procesa zdravstvene nege. Predstavili smo možne negovalne diagnoze pri otroku z bolečino in načrt zdravstvene nege. Metodologija raziskovanja.

Title:
Children in pain
Abstract:
The thesis presents pain with children and the scales for measuring pain with children as an important element in ensuring the quality of nursing care. Treatment effects and satisfaction of children, being health care quality indicators, depend upon timely identification and measurement of pain with children. In the thesis we also describe the physiology of pain, and pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods of pain relief with children in pain are presented. Further more all four phases of nursing care process as well as possible nursing diagnosis with child in pain are included. We present a potential nursing diagnoses in a child with pain and health care plan. The methodology of the survey. The survey was based on a quantitative methodology. The data were obtained using partially structured questionnaire. The survey was to determine whether the nursing team members have knowledge and experience to identify and assess the severity of pain in children, and what scale of the nursing team members to assess the severity of pain in children most commonly used. The survey was conducted among nursing team members who are employed at the children's section. The results. We found that the nursing team members have sufficient knowledge and experience to identify and assess pain in children and for assessing the severity of pain most commonly used one-dimensional scale VAS. Conclusion. Children often suffer from acute or chronic pain and pain during diagnostic therapeutic exercise program. Good cooperation between health professionals, children and parents is essential to optimize the management of pain in children. Members of the nursing team should have to deal with pain in children the knowledge and experience. This knowledge and experience you should only upgrade to continuous professional education.
