Abstract:POVZETEK Predšolski otrok se rad giblje in rad pleše. Z gibanjem telo otroka postaja gibčno, prožno in koordinirano, plesna vzgoja pa v njem prebuja estetsko tenkočutnost, izražanje čustev in umetniško ustvarjalnost.

Title:THE EFFECTS OF DANCE CREATIVITY ON TEAM DYNAMICS MAONG PRESCHOOL CHILDREN
Abstract:ABSTRACT A preschool child loves to move and dance. Movement enables his body to become supple, flexible and coordinated, while dance education encourages his aesthetic sensibility, expression of emotions and artistic creativity. The purpose of the theoretic part of this thesis, which encompasses a definition of the development of a child in connection with dance education, is to research the general influence of creativity on a child, the improvisation in dance, the description of a dance dramatisation, how group dynamics should be planned, how long should it last, what part should a child play in it, what group dynamics is and what is needed for it to be successful. In the empirical part of this thesis we have observed children during a creation of a dance dramatisation of the Hansel and Gretel tale. Based on that our intention was to determine how children will use mutual help, cooperation and creativity in the group to achieve the final result which they will then perform for their parents. The survey included children from the Boris Peče kindergarten, unit Bresternica. The group consists of 21 children, 13 girls and 8 boys. The group is heterogeneous, with the ages of children reaching from 3 to 6 years. The children have been divided into two groups by chance. The groups remained fixed during the survey. The results of the survey show that creativity depends upon working in a group and upon its dynamics. A greater age difference among the children does not represent a hindrance for work – on the contrary, it had an encouraging effect. The differences in performance of the final dance dramatisation with regard to the age of the children were negligible.
Keywords:comprehensive development of a child in connection with dance education, creativity, improvisation, dance dramatisation, group dynamics
