Abstract:

Title:
DETERMINATION OF ANIONS IN WATERS BY ION CHROMATOGRAPHY
Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis was the validation of the analytical method for the determination of chlorate (III) and chlorate (V) anion in drinking and swimming pool waters by ion chromatography (IC). The validation of the analytical method was performed. Linearity, limit of detection, limit of quantitation, precision, accuracy, trueness, matrix effects, temporal stability of the standards, interferences and statistically processed data, were determined. Real samples of drinking and swimming pool water, which did not contain chlorate (III) and chlorate (V) anion, were analyzed as well. It was shown that the proposed analytical method is appropriate, precise and accurate.
