Abstract:Onesnaževala iz cestnega prometa so eden izmed glavnih virov, ki vplivajo na koncentracije delcev PM10 v mestih, ter negativno vplivajo na človekovo zdravje. V diplomski nalogi obravnavamo korelacije med kakovostjo zunanjega zraka z delci PM10 in prometnimi podatki iz avtomatskih števnih mest v Mariboru. Po naših ugotovitvah korelacij med omenjenimi parametri ni, zato smo se odločili za postavitev novega merilnega mesta v središču Maribora. Z novim merilnim mestom bomo dobili bolj izpopolnjeno merilno mrežo v MOM, boljše informacije o kakovosti zraka v središču mesta hkrati pa možnost boljše prepoznave zveze med prometom in koncentracijami delcev PM10.

Title:CORRELATION BETWEEN TRAFFIC AND THE PM 10 CONCENTRATION IN THE AMBIENT IN THE CITY OF MARIBOR
Abstract:Pollutants in traffic are one of the main sources, that affect on the level of PM10 concentrations in cities, and adversely affect human health. In this thesis we discuss the correlation between data from different automatic counting stations, which are not necessarily close to sites measuring the ambient air with PM10 particles in Maribor. According to our findings, no such correlations exist, therefore we decided to set up a new measurement site in the center of Maribor. The new measurement site will improve the measuring network in the municipality of Maribor, provide better information on air quality in the city center and also enable better recognition of links between traffic and the concentration of PM10 particles.
