Abstract:V diplomskem delu sem predstavila izobraževanje v Sloveniji in financiranje le-tega. Osredotočila sem se predvsem na visokošolsko izobraževanje. Podrobneje sem opisala, kako poteka vpis, kako poteka izobraževanje ter prednosti takšnega izobraževanja. Nato sem ločila šolstvo na zasebno in javno ter opisala njuno financiranje. V Sloveniji se javne šole financirajo iz državnih sredstev, zasebne šole pa pretežno iz šolnin in drugih prispevkov, vendar pa nek delež vseeno pridobijo tudi iz državnega denarja. Pomembno je omeniti strah, ki vlada med državljani glede financiranja zasebnih šol iz državnih sredstev, saj se bojijo, da bi potem zasebne šole postale enakovredne javnim, le-te pa bi posledično izgubile na pomenu. Nekatere med njimi so kot primer izvajanja programov v okviru zasebnega sektorja tudi podrobneje opisane (predstavitev, programi, šolnine, prispevki).

Title:PUBLIC AND PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND ANALYSIS OF THEIR FUNDING
Abstract:In my diploma paper I presented the education in Slovenia and financing of it. I focused mainly on high education. I described in detail the enrollment in vocational schools, how the training is conducted and the advantages of such education. Furthermore, I separated the private and public education, and described their funding. In Slovenia, public schools are financed by the state, and private schools are financed largely from student fees and other contributions but some of the share of the money is again from the state. It is important to mention the fear that reigns among citizens regarding the funding of private schools from public funds. They fear that private schools would then become equivalent to the public, and would subsequently lost its meaning. As an example of the implementation of the programs in private sector, some of them are also described in detail (presentations, programs, fees, contributions).
