Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom »Dejavnosti okoljske vzgoje v prvem triletju osnovne šole – nevarnosti narave in njeno varovanje« je razdeljeno na teoretični in empirični del. Teoretični del diplomskega dela obsega razlago termina ekologija, opis globalnega stanja okolja, okoljsko vzgojo, natančen pregled šestih nacionalnih učnih načrtov za prvo triletje s stališča okoljske vzgoje in dveh področij dejavnosti nevarnosti narave in varovanje okolja.

Title:THE ACTIVITIES OF ENVIROMENTAL EDUCATION IN THE FIRST TRIAD OF THE PRIMARY SCHOOL - THE DANGERS OF NATURE AND THE PROTECTION OF IT
Abstract:The diploma work called "Environmental Education Acitivities in the First Triennium of Primary School - Perils of Nature and its Protection" is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part comprises the explanation of the term ecology, the description of the global state of the environment, environmental education, the detailed review of the six national learning programmes of the first triennium from the standpoint of environmental education, perils of nature and environmental protection. In the empirical part the results of the survey carried out among the 823 pupils and the 56 teachers of the first triennium of Maribor primary schools are presented. It has been established teachers often plan and exert environmental protection activies while they are less engaged in prevention against the perils of nature. Pupils take preventive measures mostly against tick (85,3%) and mosquito (84,8%) bites. They protect the environment by waste selection (81,8%), are aware of the consequences of environmental pollution (57,4%) but are less familiar with the term ecology (16.5%)
