Abstract:Glasba ni naključen pojav. Tibetanske pojoče posode v svojem izvoru združujejo šamanske religiozne obrede in budistično meditacijo.

Title:SOUND POTENTIAL OF TIBETAN SINGING BOWLS AND HOW THEY INFLUENCE THE WELL-BEING OF PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN
Abstract:Music isn't an accidental occurrence. On the contrary: all comes from music. A concept of sound, which can take a human spirit to another level of consciousness, is as old as humanity. Different cultures from all over the world use sound for healing and transformation of consciousness. Tibetan singing bowls in their origin include shaman religious customs and Buddhist meditation. Nowadays a calming and tranquilising sound of the bowls is used at sound therapies and massages. Long lasting sound, which penetrates the body in co-centric waves, helps the physical body to relax on emotional and spiritual level. Meaning of healing power of sound through the history of humanity is presented in the theoretical part of the composition. Tibetan singing bowls have been used as a healing instrument since Bronze Age. In the composition is shown a research of their origin, influence of sound and vibrations on the human body and application of the bowls in therapeutic purposes. In the empirical part of the composition is presented a research of how the Tibetan singing bowls influence the wellbeing of chosen primary school children. Results of the investigation are applied to realisation of educational process and pedagogical work in primary school.
