Title:UPORABA PCA METODE PRI VREDNOTENJU VPLIVA POLOŽAJA PLODOV V KROŠNJI NA LASTNOSTI PRIDELKA PLODOV RAZLIČNIH SORT JABLAN (Malus domestica B.)

Abstract:Uporaba PCA metode pri vrednotenju vpliva položaja plodov v krošnji na lastnosti pridelka plodov različnih sort jablan (Malus domestica B.) UDK: 634.11:519.87: 631.524. 7(043)=863 V Sadjarskem centru Maribor (Gačnik) in na posestvu UKC Pohorski dvor je bila v letu 2009 izvedena raziskava z namenom ovrednotiti vpliv položaja ploda v krošnji na nekatere parametre zrelosti in kakovosti pridelka jablan sort ′Gala′, ′Elstar′, ′Jonagold′, ′Braeburn′ in ′Fuji′. Sončni položaj je bil definiran kot položaj na obodu krošnje, polsenčni položaj med obodom krošnje in deblom in senčni položaj tik ob deblu. Za obdelavo podatkov sta bili uporabljeni PCA analiza in ANOVA. Skupna PCA analiza podatkov vseh petih sort jablan je pokazala močan vpliv položaja ploda v krošnji na testirane parametre zrelosti in kakovosti plodov (pojasnjeno 61 % variance). Pri vseh petih sortah je imel položaj ploda v krošnji signifikanten vpliv na intenzivnost obarvanosti povrhnjice, vsebnost topne suhe snovi in povprečno maso plodov, tako da so bili plodovi na sončnem položaju bolje obarvani, slajši in so dosegli večjo povprečno maso. Pri sortah 'Elstar' in 'Braeburn' so bili na sončnem položaju plodovi tudi trši in zrelejši. Pri sorti 'Fuji' je bila zrelost plodov najmanj odvisna od njihovega položaja v krošnji.

Title:Using the PCA method in the evaluation of the impact of fruit position in the tree canopy on the fruit harvest of different apple varieties (Malus domestica B.)
Abstract:Using the PCA method in the evaluation of the impact of fruit position in the tree canopy on the fruit harvest of different apple varieties (Malus domestica B.) The intention of the research, which was held at the Fruit Centre Maribor (Gačnik) and the University Agricultural Centre Pohorski dvor in the year 2009, was to evaluate the influence of fruit position in the tree canopy on some maturity parameters and quality in crop yield within apple cultivars 'Gala', 'Elstar', 'Jonagold', 'Braeburn' and 'Fuji'. The canopy circumference was defined as sunny position, the area between canopy and the tree trunk as semi-shade position, and the area adjoining the tree trunk as shady position. For data processing PCA analysis and ANOVA have been used. The total PCA analysis of data for all five apple cultivars showed a strong influence of fruit position in the tree canopy on the tested parameters of fruit quality and ripeness (explanation of 61 % variance). In all five cultivars the fruit position in the tree canopy had a significant impact on the intensity of the apple skin colour, the soluble solids content and the average fruit weight. The fruits in sunny position obtained a more intensive colour, were sweeter and have reached a higher average weight. The fruits of 'Elstar' and 'Braeburn' cultivars were even more solid and riper on sunny position, while the fruit ripeness of the 'Fuji' cultivar least depended on fruit position in the tree canopy.
