Title:THE INFLUENCE OF A 12 WEEK TRAINING ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN SENSORIC
Abstract:In this thesis the author wishes to check through tests if continuous exercise influences the sensory development at preschool children. His study included 40 children, i.e. 20 boys and 20 girls. In each group there were 10 boys and 10 girls. There were 12 sessions performed with the experimental group. Exercises were carried out once a week. The control group programme was carried out in accordance with the national curriculum for kindergartens and the preschool's annual work plan. The objective was to determine whether elementary games and adjusted polygons affect the sensory development. The results of the survey showed that progress was made by children in both groups, the experimental, as well in the control one, but the progress of children in the experimental group was bigger, which can be seen especially in tests 1 and 2. The author also notes that test 3 was not the most suitable for demonstrating progress and that in the future it would be advisable to perform a test, where the sensory development could also be measured by temporal response. It would also be useful to introduce adapted elementary games in the annual work plan, so that sensorics in children could be regularly developed.
