Abstract:V pričujočem diplomskem delu se ukvarjamo z raziskovanjem učiteljevega delovanja v multikulturnem razredu z vidika integracije in inkluzije.

Title:Activity of a teacher in a multicultural classroom from the point of view of integration/inclusion
Abstract:This diploma deals with the actions of a teacher in a multicultural environment. The diploma has two parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part starts by presenting the basic terminology (immigrant, inclusion, integration, and multiculturalism). We continued by presenting Declaration of Human and Children’s rights. Finally, the 2004 Euridyce study was presented and it serves as a basis for the theoretical part. The theoretical part was done at IES Jandía in a sample of regularly employed teachers. The aim of the survey was to establish the relation that each teacher holds towards multicultural teaching. Only 20 questionnaires were returned and the results are presented in tables as well as in description. The description of a Slovenian project The Bridge to Romani People is included in the empirical part as it serves as presents a good example of a project fighting with social exclusion. In the conclusion, our work is first presented and re-evaluated through the evaluation of aims. As the final part, some ideas on how to improve multicultural function of a school are given.
