Abstract:POVZETEK Družina ni samo biološka struktura, je vir posameznikovega duševnega razvoja, njegove duhovne in osebnostne rasti. Namen diplomske naloge je bil ugotoviti, kako otroci prvega triletja osnovne šole preživljajo prosti čas doma, v šoli in v institucijah izven šole. Pri izdelavi diplomskega dela je bil uporabljen vzorec 120 staršev otrok prvega, drugega in tretjega razreda dveh osnovnih šol. Podatki so bili zbrani s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika in obdelani z ustreznimi statističnimi postopki, in sicer na nivoju deskriptivne in inferenčne statistike.

Title:LEISURE CLASSES OF CHILDREN IN THE FIRST TRIENNIUM OF PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract:ABSTRACT A family is not only a biological structure but it is a source of a mental growth of each individual. An influence of a family is reflected not only in education but it also has an existential importance because it gives wings under which an individual experiences love and acceptances and under which he feels desirable and safe. Extraordinary important for a family is also common leisure. A purpose of my diploma paper was to determine how the children of first three years in primary school spend their leisure time at home, in school and in institutions outside school. In compiling diploma thesis I used a sample of 120 parents of children in the first, second and third grade of two primary schools. Data were collected through a survey questionnaire and processed by appropriate statistical procedures depending on a level of descriptive and inferential statistics. The survey found out that children spend their free time very qualitatively. Activities in children's free time with their families are numerously and heterogeneous. Parents are able to listen to the needs and interests of their children and accordingly adjust their obligations. Curricular activities in school are often visited and children can also learn German and English. Children's participation in extracurricular activities is lower. Leisure also today retains its role. Parents realize and aware that children through leisure satisfy a need for rest and entertainment and also learn for a life.
