Title:Uvedba RFID tehnologije v Knjižnici Brežice : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija

Abstract: V nalogi je prikazana uvedba radiofrekvenčne identifikacije (RFID) knjižničnega gradiva kot nadgradnja tehnologije črtne kode v knjižnicah. Avtorja je zanimalo, katera programska oprema je potrebna za uvedbo tehnologije RFID, kakšen sistem se uporablja v slovenskih splošnih knjižnicah, katero RFID-opremo je treba kupiti in kakšno reorganizacijo delovnih procesov je treba opraviti. Narejena so bile raziskave, in sicer: analiza SWOT, statistika uporabe tehnologije RFID po Sloveniji, raziskava trga, ocenitev stroškov za vzpostavitev takšne tehnologije in primerjava dveh tehnologij. Naloga je zaključena s posnetkom stanja, prikazom procesov uporabe tehnologije RFID, možnostmi njene nadgradnje in z uvedbo tehnologije RFID v Knjižnici Brežice.

Title:The introduction of RFID technology in Knjižnica Brežice
Abstract: The diploma work offers an insight into the introduction of radiofrequency identification (RFID) as an upgrade of barcode in libraries. The author attempts to find out what software is needed for the RFID, what system is used in Slovenian public libraries, what equipment needs to be bought and what job restructuring carried out. The basis for his work were SWOT analysis, RFID use statistics in Slovenia, market research, cost estimates for RFID introduction and comparison between two technologies. The diploma work concludes with the record of the situation, use of RFID, possibilities of its upgrade and its introduction to the Brežice library.
