Abstract:
Poraba električne energije v Sloveniji in drugod po Evropi narašča. Z namenom zmanjševanja rasti so zahteve po varčevanju z energijo in vodo vse strožje. Zato so konec preteklega leta v veljavo stopile direktive za uvedbo novih energijskih nalepk za gospodinjske aparate, ki predvsem omogočajo dodajanje novih, varčnejših energijskih razredov. V uvodnem delu je predstavljeno gibanje porabe končne energije po sektorjih in trend energijske učinkovitosti gospodinjskih aparatov na trgu. V nadaljevanju je opisana nova energijska nalepka pralnega stroja z izpostavljenimi ključnimi spremembami in datumi veljavnosti. Glavni cilj magistrske naloge je predstaviti uporabo metode načrtovanja eksperimentov v razvojnem procesu. Opisani so koraki načrtovanja, izvedbe preizkusov in analize rezultatov z uporabo programske opreme Minitab. V zaključku je posebna pozornost namenjena izboru in preizkusu parametrov za izboljšanje energijske učinkovitosti pralnega stroja.

Title:
ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF WASHING MACHINE
Abstract:
Electric energy consumption in Slovenia and elsewhere in Europe is increasing. With the purpose to reduce this increase, the requirements for energy and water saving are becoming more and more severe. So, at the end of the last year the directives for introduction of new energy labels for household appliances which among all enable adding of new, more economic energy classes came into force. The introductory part of the thesis presents trends in final energy consumption per sectors and trend of energy efficiency of household appliances on the market. Then the new washing machine energy label is described with key modifications and dates of validity. The main purpose of master’s thesis is to present the use of design of experiment method in the development process. Steps of planning, execution of tests and result analyses with the use of software Minitab are described in the thesis. In the conclusion, special attention has been paid to the choice and test of parameters for improvement of washing machine energy efficiency.
