Abstract:V industrijskih procesih, kjer nastajajo emisije prašnih delcev, ločimo emisije, ki se zajemajo in odvajajo preko filtrov in filtrnih naprav skozi izpuste v okolje in jih uvrščamo med zajete emisije. Namen naloge je bil ovrednotiti skupne emisije in delež razpršenih in ubežnih emisij. Na podlagi izmerjenega masnega pretoka prašnih delcev smo ovrednotili pomen razpršenih in ubežnih emisij ter določili njihov kvantitativni prispevek k skupni emisiji obratov livarn.

Title:DETERMINATION OF DUST PARTICLES EMISSION FLOW RATE FROM INDUSTRIAL DIFFUSE SOURCE
Abstract:Industrial processes are the important contributors of dust emissions. Among the emission sources two categories are usually distinguished: a) captured emissions, which are captured and released through filters and filtering equipment, and b) uncaptured fugitive and diffuse emissions which are released to the environment. In the surrounding area of Talum company, several activities take place where captured as well as fugitive and diffuse dust emissions are produced. The intention of this work was to assess the total dust emissions, and the fraction of uncaptured fugitive and diffuse emissions. Measurements of dust particle concentrations around the fugitive dust source in the foundry area were performed according to the EN 15445 in the period from 25. 3. to 23. 5. 2010. Based on direct load assessment around diffuse sources, applying reverse dispersion modelling and linear regression, the emission mass flow rate of dust particles PM10 from diffuse source was determined. The importance of fugitive and diffuse emissions was evaluated based on the measured mass flow rate of dust particles, and their contribution to total emission of foundries was quantitatively determined.
Keywords:PM10, diffuse and fugitive emissions, reverse dispersion modeling, linear regression, mass flow rate of dust particles
