Abstract:
Diplomsko delo z naslovom Slikarska pripoved skozi avtoportret Fride Kahlo in lastna dela je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela, pri čemer je praktični del vsebinsko vezan na teoretični del. V prvem, teoretičnem delu sem v začetku prikazala duh časa v življenju Fride Kahlo. Opisala sem zgodovinsko, politično in kulturno področje Latinske Amerike in njegov vpliv na slikarstvo Fride Kahlo. Nato sem povzela njeno življenjsko zgodbo in vpliv le-te na njeno slikarstvo. Pisala sem tudi o vplivu Evropskih dejavnikov. Tu sem omenila renesančni vpliv, vpliv katoliške ikonografije in majhen vpliv sočasnega evropskega umetniškega dogajanja. V koncu teoretičnega dela sem predstavila nekaj doprsnih avtoportretov Fride Kahlo in jih razčlenila. Razložila sem tudi nekaj pogostih simbolov, ki jih je upodabljala. V drugem, praktičnem delu pa sem se zgledovala po njenih motivih in napravila pet avtoportretov. Podobnost s Fridinim izrazom sem iskala v motivu, izogibala sem se kopiranju. Iskala sem svojo lastno slikarsko pripoved. V pisnem delu sem avtoportrete razložila. V okviru diplomskega dela bom pripravila tudi slikarsko razstavo.

THE PAINTER'S NARRATION THROUGH THE SELF-PORTRAIT OF FRIDA KAHLO AND MY OWN WORKS
Abstract:
The diploma paper titled The painter's narration through the self-portrait of Frida Kahlo and my own works consists of the theoretical and practical part; the content of the practical part is linked to the theoretical part The beginning of the theoretical part presents the spirit of the age reflected in the life of Frida Kahlo. It presents the historical, political and cultural sphere of Latin America and its influence on the work of Frida Kahlo. This is followed by a description of her life story and its influence on her work. The European factors are also dealt with in the paper. The influences of the renaissance, catholic iconography and a minute influence of the European art are mentioned. The end of the theoretical part covers the account of some half-length self portraits of Frida Hahlo and their analysis. Some of the symbols frequently used by the authoress have also been explained. The practical part covers five self-portraits which I have made with the use of the motifs of Frida Kahlo’s work. I have tried to gain similarity with Frida’s work with the use of her motifs and tried to avoid copying. I was searching for my own painting narrative. The written part covers the explanation of the self-portraits. The diploma work is also going to cover an art exhibition.
