Abstract:
V diplomskem delu z naslovom Gledališka dejavnost na Ptuju je predstavljen razvoj ptujskega gledališkega življenja in steber njegovega delovanja vse od začetkov gledališke dejavnosti na Ptuju pa do današnjih dni. Opisani so začetki gledališke dejavnost na Ptuju, ko je bilo gledališče v nemških rokah, gledališka dejavnost v Narodni čitalnici in Dramatičnem društvu, poklicno gledališče in njegova opustitev, prikazano je nadaljevanje ljubiteljskega gledališčnega dela in ponovna oživitev profesionalnega gledališča. Predstavljeni so vsi pomembnejši gledališki ustvarjalci, ki so delovali na Ptuju. Ob tem je predstavljena bogata festivalska dejavnost ptujskega gledališča. Na koncu je dodan repertoar predstav, ki so jih ptujski gledališčniki odigrali v času obstoja gledališča.

THEATRICAL ACTIVITIES IN PTUJ
Abstract:
In final thesis titled Theatre activity in Ptuj is represented the development of Ptuj's theatre life and its activity from the beginning of theatre activity in Ptuj to the present days. There are described the beginnings of theatre activity in Ptuj when the theatre was is Germans’ hands, there are also described the theatre activities in National reading society and Dramatic society, professional theatre and its omission, the continuation of amateurish theatre work and renewed resuscitation of professional theatre. There are represented all important theatre creators, which were working in Ptuj. Beside that it is represented rich festival activity of Ptuj’s theatre. At the end it is added the repertoire of performances which were performed by Ptuj’s actors in the time of theatre’s existence.
