Abstract:

Title:
OPTIMIZATION OF TRANSPORTATION ROUTES IN THE WAREHOUSE MATERIALS
Abstract:
The aim of my diploma thesis was to introduce the idea of optimizing transport ways with regard to the automatic delivery of substances with a transport hand truck. In the Central weighing area, which is connected through the high-bay warehouse to the Substance warehouse, we weigh the substances for the production and outside supply. The warehouse is not completely automated regarding the delivery of materials in the exact weighing room, which is the reason for crossing the substances at the manipulative zone. To ensure efficiency and appropriate work conditions, we need to update and automate transport logistic systems, upgrade the mid-phase weighing warehouse and the computerization of the warehouse management. With a modernization and optimization of the management and with new equipment, we plan to automate material manipulation, protect materials from damages, dissipation and spillage, provide extra areas for the production needs, enlarge the quality of work and improve work conditions.
