Abstract:Da bi podjetje v današnjih zaostrenih pogojih poslovanja dolgoročno preživelo, se mora tega zavedati in z aktivnim upravljanjem tveganj obvladovati in sprejemati ukrepe za njihovo zmanjševanje. Čeprav ne obstaja način, ki bi v celoti odpravil vsa tveganja, je ta mogoče v veliki meri omiliti z uporabo določenih finančnih instrumentov. Eden najpomembnejših je bančna garancija, ki v poslovnem svetu velja za enega najzanesljivejših instrumentov zavarovanja, predvsem pri večjih in zahtevnejših transakcijah. V nalogi so predstavljena plačilna tveganja in njihovo obvladovanje, podrobneje pa je opisana bančna garancija, njen pravni okvir, prednosti in slabosti, primerjava z drugimi instrumenti ter vrste bančnih garancij. V empiričnem delu naloge sem predstavil Poštno banko Slovenije, d.d. — bančna skupina Nove Kreditne banke Maribor d.d., kot enega od ponudnikov tovrstnih finančnih storitev v Sloveniji, in postopek pridobitve bančne garancije.

Title:ELIMINATION OF RISKS IN INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS WITH BANK GUARANTEE
Abstract:In order that the company in today's heightened conditions of the operation will survive long-term, it must be aware of it and with the active corporation of the risks it must master and accept the measures for their diminution. Although there is not a way that would abolish all the risks on the whole, it is possible to moderate it a lot with the use of the certain financial instruments. One of the most important is a bank guarantee, in the business world it is worth for one of the most reliable instruments of the insurance, mainly with the bigger, more pretending transactions. Payment risks and their commands are presented and the bank guarantee, its legislative framework, advantages and disadvantages, the comparison with other instruments and sorts of bank guarantee are described in detail. In the empiric part of the task I presented the Poštna banka Slovenije, d.d. – bančna skupina Nove Kreditne banke Maribor d.d., as one of the offerer of such financial services in Slovenia and the procedures of obtaining of the bank guarantee.
