Abstract:
Osnovni cilj diplomskega dela je bil združiti podatke o padlih borcih na soški fronti na enem mestu, v digitalni obliki. V delu je prikazana vzpostavitev novega informacijskega sistema, ki vključuje: definiranje problema, dejstev in namena, podatkovno analizo zahtev in specifikacijo sistema, načrtovanje sistema in komponent, implementacijo in testiranje komponent, testiranje sistema, uporabo, vzdrževanje in razvoj. Tako so podatki (pridobljeni v različnih arhivih) zbrani v kompleksno bazo podatkov o padlih borcih. Informacijski sistem i4 sedaj služi Fundaciji Poti miru v Posočju pri iskanju (urejanju, popravljanju in dodajanju) podatkov o padlih borcih.

Title:
DATA AND INFORMATION ASSISTANCE FOR THE WALKS OF PEACE IN THE SOČA REGION FOUNDATION
Abstract:
The primary objective of this thesis was to combine the data on the fallen combatants on the Isonzo Front in one place, in digital form. The work presents a newly established information system, which includes defining the problem, the facts and the purpose, data analysis system requirements and specification, system and component design and implementation and testing of components, testing the system, use, maintenance and development. Thus, the data (obtained in different archives) are collected in a complex database on the fallen combatants. The information system i4 now serves the Walks of Peace in the Soča Region Foundation in order to search (editing, correcting and adding) the data on fallen combatants.
