Abstract:
V diplomskem delu je predstavljeno delo Splošne bolnišnice Novo mesto, in sicer del logističnih dejavnosti, ki jih izvajajo delavci službe za čiščenje, transport in kurirska dela. Delo te službe je sicer tekoče organizirano, a se kljub temu srečujemo z določenimi pomanjkljivostmi in težavami. Izboljšave in napredek je na tem področju mogoče doseči s pomočjo danes tehnološko vse bolj izpopolnjene cevne zračne pošte. Cilj diplomskega dela ni le nakazati na rešitev na področju dela službe, ki predstavlja glavni nosilec logističnih dejavnosti na področju notranje logistike, ampak tudi predstavitev konkretne umestitve cevne zračne pošte. Le-ta je namenjena za prenos manjših pošiljk, ki se sedaj ročno prenašajo med posameznimi oddelki bolnišnice in laboratoriji. Pri tem so izpostavljene napake in težave, ki se pri prenosu teh pošiljk pojavljajo, ter omejitve, ki spremljajo pošiljanje vzorcev biološkega materiala. Ocenjene so tudi prednosti in slabosti cevne zračne pošte ter čas vračanja investicije.

Possibility of installing a pneumatic tube system in SB Novo mesto
Abstract:
This diploma thesis presents the work and activities in General hospital Novo mesto. We included a part of logistic activities executed by the workers who work in the cleaning, transport and mail service. Organization of work in this service runs smoothly but there are still certain imperfections and problems. Improvements and progress can be achieved in these areas with the help of pneumatic tube system, which is getting nowadays more and more improved. The main goal of this diploma thesis is not only to point to the solution, which presents the main area of logistic activities in the field of internal logistics, but to show the actual installment of pneumatic tube systems. This is used to transport small shipments which are currently delivered manually between hospital departments and different laboratories. We pointed out several imperfections and problems which occur with the transport. We also indicated the limitations which arise while transporting biological samples. We have also indicated the advantages and disadvantages of the pneumatic tube system and the actual repay of this investment.
