Abstract:
Zaradi svojih dobrih transportnih karakteristik in ekonomsko tehničnih prednostih, se je kontejnerski transport v zadnjih desetletij zelo hitro razširil po vsem svetu. Poseben pomen kontejnerjev je v tem, da so univerzalni in se lahko uporabljajo v vseh vrstah transporta. Poleg tega homogenizira razne vrste tovora v transportno enoto in omogoča transport »od vrat do vrat«. Zasedenost kontejnerjev na nacionalni ravni je slaba, zato sem se odločil raziskati kapacitetno organizacijske in tehnološke probleme in podati možne rešitve, ki bi pripomogle k izboljšanju obstoječega stanja.

RATIONALISATION OF NATIONAL CONTAINER TRANSPORTS
Abstract:
Container transport has become a very widely used means of transport in the last decades mainly due to its good transport characteristics as well as its economical and technical advantages. The importance of containers lies in the fact that they are universal and can be used in different ways of transporting goods. Besides they homogenise various types of freight and they enable transport door to door. In Slovenia there are still a lot of containers unused therefore I decided to research the organization and technological problems connected with this type of transport and then provide some possible solutions which would improve the current situation.
