Abstract:
Želja vsakega podjetja je imeti zadovoljne zaposlene, ki so motivirani za svoje delo in ga opravljajo z veseljem. Če je vse našteto uresničeno ni težav v nezadovoljstvu zaposlenih in posledično odsotnostjo z dela ter odhajanja kadrov. Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz dveh delov - teoretičnega in praktičnega. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili opredelitev kadrovske funkcije in njen razvoj. Podrobno smo opisali problema absentizma in fluktuacije, ki sta posledica nezadovoljstva zaposlenih. Vključili smo tudi raziskavo o odsotnosti z dela zaradi bolniške odsotnosti v Sloveniji, ki jo izvaja Inštitut za varovanje zdravja ter predstavili podatke obsežne evropske raziskave absentizma v Evropi, ki poteka vsakih pet let. V praktičnem delu smo predstavili tri oddelke, v Zavarovalnici X, v katerih smo kasneje izvedli anketo. S pomočjo podatkov iz podjetja smo predstavili tudi stopnje absentizma in fluktuacije od leta 2005 do 2009, iz katerih se vidi, kako se v zadnjih letih povečuje stopnja le-teh. Sledi predstavitev rezultatov ankete ter definiranje ugotovitev in predlogov v zvezi z raziskavo.

ABSENTEEISM AND TURNOVER ON THE PERSONAL - INSURANCE DEPARTMENTS AT THE X - INSURANCE COMPANY
Abstract:
An objective of every company is satisfied employees, who are motivated for their work and reach job satisfaction. If this goal is achieved, there is no dissatisfaction among employees and, as a consequence, there is no absence from work and no loss of the personnel. The diploma work consists of two parts – the theoretical one and the practical one. The theoretical part defines the Human Resources function and its development. The problems of absenteeism and staff turnover have been described in detail. Both appear as a consequence of employees' dissatisfaction. Included is a piece of research into the absence from work in Slovenia due to sick leave, which is conducted by the Institute for the Protection of Health. Further on, the presentation includes the data obtained by extensive European research on absenteeism in Europe, which is carried out every five years. The practical part presents three departments of an insurance company as well as a survey which was conducted in each of the departments. The data obtained in the company present three levels of absenteeism and staff turnover for the years 2005-2009. The levels illustrate an increase in absenteeism and staff turnover in the past few years. Special importance has been given to the survey results as well as the presentation of some suggestions and conclusions with regard to the research.
