Abstract:
Izbira pravilne poslovne strategije nastopa na spletu ni enostavna naloga. V delu smo predstavili poslovno strategijo, ki nas pelje skozi raziskavo tržišča, promocijo podjetja in izdelkov, ter konverzijo obiskovalcev v stranke. Definirali smo tudi pomen razvoja vsebin, storitev in produktov ter ga umestili v celovito strategijo. Posebej pa smo izpostavili tudi pomen upravljalnega podsistema podjetja pri planiranju, razvoju ter nadzoru. Definirano poslovno strategijo smo aplicirali in ovrednotili v dvajsetih tržnih nišah. Pri tem smo dobili rezultate, ki so potrdili uspešnost uporabljene strategije. Ugotovili smo, da nam še tako poglobljeno poznavanje strategij, orodij in metod ne zagotavlja uspeha. Vse to so le predpogoji, ki dajejo dobro podlago za uspeh v spletnem poslu. Ključnega pomena je, da za vse dejavnosti oblikujemo natančno definirane in sledljive poslovne procese, ki nato omogočajo optimizacijo celovite poslovne strategije.

ENTERING NEW MARKETS BY USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Abstract:
Choosing the right business strategy for online business is not an easy task. Business strategy that leads us through market research, advertising the company and its products, as well as conversion of visitors into customers, was presented here. The meaning of developing contents, services and products was defined and set into the whole strategy. We extra exposed the meaning of company's management subsystem in planning, developing and controlling. The defined business strategy was applied and evaluated on twenty market niches. This way we got the results that confirmed the success of the chosen strategy. We established, that even the deep knowledge of strategies, tools and methods does not guarantee the success. They are only the preliminary condition and are giving the basis for success in online business. It is crucial to form a well-defined and traceable business processes. That is the essential part that then gives us the opportunity to optimize the whole business strategy.
