Abstract:Eno izmed oblik tesnejšega in ekonomičnega sodelovanja države s svojimi državljani zagotovo predstavljajo tudi zbornice kot pravne osebe javnega prava.

Title:ORGANIZATION, WORKING METHOD AND EFFECTIVES OF CHAMBER OF AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY OF SLOVENIA
Abstract:Chambers as legal bodies of public law present one of the forms of closer and more economic co-operation between government and its citizens. The Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia (CAFS) is a legal body of public law which – as a professional organisation - unites natural and legal persons working in agriculture, forestry and fisheries. Its central task is a professional and informed representation of members’ interests. Its goals within the assurance of public interest impose a wider social responsibility and a proactive role. The basis of its function is assurance of a representative and competent partner to the government. Following the principle of uniform representation, assurance of equality, homogeneity and professional competence the CAFS is bound to bring into line both individualism and pluralism of opinions and interests in order to attain prosperity of the Slovene countryside. All this proves its efficiency and at the same time justifies its regulatory framework to meet the needs of public interest. Slovenia is a specific case. A simple transfer of individual country model, although it may seem as optimal, is not possible.
