Abstract:
V teoretičnem delu je bilo predstavljeno številčno in opisno ocenjevanje ter sodelovanje staršev pri ocenjevanju. V empiričnem delu so bila opredeljena in v nadaljevanju analizirana vprašanja, vezana na informativno, čustveno-motivacijsko in psihohigiensko vrednost opisne in številčne ocene ter splošnega mnenja staršev do teh dveh tipov ocenjevanja. Pri tem nas je zanimal obstoj razlik glede na stopnjo končane izobrazbe staršev ter starost oz. razred, ki ga obiskuje njihov otrok. V ta namen je bil sestavljen vprašalnik za starše otrok prvega in drugega razreda devetletne osnovne šole. Odgovori staršev so pokazali, da ima po njihovem mnenju opisna ocena v primerjavi s številčno večjo informativno ter psihohigiensko vrednost. Starši so mnenja, da opisna ocena poda več informacij o znanju, da je bolj objektivna, da manj vpliva na manjvrednostne občutke ter obremenjenost otroka kot pa številčna ocena. Analiza čustveno-motivacijske vrednosti obeh tipov ocen nama je pokazala, da starši pripisujejo opisni oceni vlogo notranje motivacije in številčni oceni vlogo zunanje motivacije. Večina staršev se je opredelila za opisno ocenjevanje; glavni razlogi zanj so bili: sproščena, manj stresna klima, poznavanje ciljev učenčevega napredovanja ter večja objektivnost.

Title:
DESCRIPTIVE AND NUMERICAL ASSESSMENT FROM A PARENT'S POINT OF VIEW
Abstract:
In the theoretical part, assessment, namely numerical and descriptive, was presented and also the cooperation of parents in the assessment. In the empirical part, questions related to informative, emotional-motivational and psychohygienic value of descriptive and numerical marks and general opinion of parents on these two types of assessment were determined and later analyzed. We were interested in the existence of differences with regard to parents’ level of acquired education and age or grade that their children are in. A questionnaire for parents of children in first and second grade of 9-year primary school was made for this purpose. Parents’ answers indicated that in their opinion a descriptive mark in comparison with a numerical mark has higher informative and psychohygienic value. Parents believed that the descriptive mark gives more information about the knowledge, it is more objective, and it has less influence on feelings of inferiority and on children’s load than the numerical mark. The analysis of the emotional-motivational value of both types of marks showed that parents attribute the role of internal motivation to the descriptive mark and the role of external motivation to the numerical mark. Majority of parents declared for descriptive assessment, main reasons for it being relaxed, less stressful atmosphere, the knowledge of aims of student’s progress and larger objectivity.
