Abstract:
Komunikacija je ena izmed osnovnih sposobnosti, potrebnih za življenje, ki jo mora vsak človek razviti že v zgodnjem otroškem obdobju. Za to dobi prve možnosti, spodbude in vzore v družini. Vsaka družina ima svoje vzorce komunikacije in marsikdaj je kakšna tema povezana z različnimi tabuji. Ponekod na primer ni zaželeno nikakršno pretirano izkazovanje čustev, spet drugje ne dopustijo le nekaterih. Namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati pomen komunikacije, kako le-ta vpliva na posameznika, kako jo izboljšati ter kako osvetliti problematiko težavnih pogovorov, to je komunikacijo o stvareh, ki pri večini zbujajo neprijetna občutja. V empiričnem delu smo želeli ugotoviti, kakšen pomen ima komunikacija v družini, ali se ji posveča dovolj časa, kdo je po mnenju staršev primarni vir informacij otroku ter kako se starši lotijo tem, o katerih se jim je težko pogovarjati. Odgovore smo pridobili z anketnim vprašalnikom. Spoznali smo, da bi starši morali poskrbeti, da se v družini vzpostavi dovolj zaupanja in povezanosti med člani, tako da se lahko otroci brez zadržkov obrnejo na njih. Zato je pomembno, da se starši z otrokom odprto, iskreno in brez zadržkov pogovarjajo o vseh pomembnih rečeh ne glede na to, kako težaven pogovor je pred njimi.

Title:
COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PARENTS AND CHILDREN - DIFFICULT TALKS
Abstract:
Communication is one of the basic abilities needed for life and it should be developed in the early childhood. In order to do that, first possibilities, incentives, and examples must be given in the family. Every family has its own patterns of communication. Many times some topics are associated with different taboos. In some families, it is not desirable to express any excessive emotions, whilst in others only some are not allowed. The purpose of this undergraduate thesis was to explore the meaning of communication and its influence on an individual. We wanted to find out how we can improve the communication and wanted to shed some light on the problematic and difficult conversations, i.e. communication about the things, which in most cause unpleasant emotions. In the empirical part of the thesis, we wanted to determine what is the meaning of the communication in the family, if the family devotes enough time to communication, who in the parents’ opinion is the primary source of a child's knowledge on the matter, and how do parents go about the topics which they have difficulties talking about. We got all the answers with the help of a pole research. We concluded that parents should ensure a trusting environment in the family and create a bond among the members, so children always know to whom to turn to. It is important to have an open and honest communication without any hindrance when talking about the important things, regardless of how difficult the talk in front of them is.
