Abstract:Novo tisočletje je prineslo pravi razmah elektronskega poslovanja. Število uporabnikov interneta še vedno narašča in s tem v sorazmerju tudi raba elektronskega poslovanja tako v svetu, kot tudi pri nas. Elektronsko poslovanje zajema proces elektronskega nakupovanja, prodajo proizvodov in storitev ter elektronsko komuniciranje, sodelovanje in iskanje informacij. Podjetja vidijo prednost elektronskega poslovanja v hitrejšem dostopu do informacij, ki so lahko v določenem trenutku ključnega pomena, v nižanju stroškov podjetja in v povečanju učinkovitosti podjetja. Glavno oviro pri uvajanju elektronskem poslovanju podjetij predstavljajo predvsem visoki stroški uvedbe in pomanjkanje strokovnjakov za uvedbo in podporo elektronskega poslovanja. Ekonomski učinek uvajanja e-poslovanja se lahko kaže na povečevanju prihodkov ali pa na zniževanju stroškov. Največji pozitivni učinki so opazni pri podjetjih, ki so uvedla bolj celovite spletne rešitve. Veliko manjši so učinki v skupini podjetij, ki so uvedle spletne rešitve, ki ne podpirajo niti odnosov s potrošniki. Slednja skupina podjetij je največja, kar nakazuje na to, da se tudi v razvitem svetu veliko več podjetij odloča le za predstavljanje podjetja na spletu, kot pa uvajanje celovitih spletnih rešitev. Uvedba elektronskega poslovanja je za podjetja postala eksistenčnega pomena, saj se v nasprotnem primeru ne bodo imela moč boriti s konkurenco.

Title:BUSINESS EFFECTS OF ELECTRONIC BUSINESS
Abstract:The new millennium has brought extreme growth of e-business. The number of internet users continues to grow along with the growth of the use of e-business in the world and in our country. E-business covers the process of electronic purchasing, selling products and services, electronic communication, collaboration and information search. Companies see the benefit of e-business in faster access to information, which may be crucial at any given time, and in reducing business costs and increase efficiency in business. The main obstacle when introducing e-commerce to the companies are mainly the high costs of set-up and the lack of experts for introduction and support of e-business. Economic effect of e-business can increase revenue or reduce costs. The largest positive effects are seen with the companies, which introduced more comprehensive online solutions. In contrast, effects are smaller in group of companies, which introduced web solutions, even without user communication support. The latter is the largest, suggesting that even in the developed world, most of the companies decide for presentation of companies on the internet, rather for the introduction of comprehensive online solutions. The introduction of e-business for companies had become of vital importance; otherwise companies would not be able to compete on the market.
