Abstract:Laserska svetloba se od navadne svetlobe razlikuje po nekaterih zanimivih lastnostih kot so monokromatičnost, koherentnost, majhen divergentni kot in možnost velike gostote energije. Te lastnosti pogojujejo tudi njegovo uporabo v medicini, tehniki in na drugih področjih. Namen diplomske naloge je podati teoretične osnove za razumevanje delovanja in uporabe laserja ter pripraviti nekaj elektronskih prosojnic in poskusov, ki bodo učiteljem v pomoč pri poučevanju. Elektronske prosojnice so izdelane interaktivno in prikazujejo povezavo lastnosti laserske svetlobe z uporabo. Opisani so štirje poskusi. Prva dva prikazujeta interferenco in uklon. Druga dva prikazujeta uporabo laserja za merjenje majhnih razdalj in določanje dioptrije. Prosojnice in poskuse lahko pri poučevanju uporabimo za motivacijo ali pa kot podporo podajanju učnih vsebin.

Title:Laser and its use
Abstract:The laser light differs from the ordinary light in many interesting characteristics. It is monochromatic, coherent, it has small divergence angle and possibility of large energy density. These characteristics determine also laser application in medicine, technology and other areas. The main purpose of the graduation thesis is to give the theoretical basis of laser operation and its application and to prepare some electronic transparencies and experiments as a supporting material for teachers. The electronic transparencies are interactive and they show us the connection between the laser light characteristics and its application. A description of four experiments is included. The two of them represent the interference and diffraction. The other two represent laser application for measurements of small distances and determination of the dioptry. The electronic transparencies and experiments can be used as motivation and as a support of teaching new skills.
