Abstract:
Microsoft Silverlight je naslednja generacija spletnih interaktivnih aplikacij, ki podpira tako različne platforme kot tudi različne brskalnike. Predstavlja mejnik v razvoju spletnih aplikacij, saj združuje različne tehnologije v razvojno platformo, ki glede na potrebe omogoča izbiro pravilnih orodij in programskega jezika. Proučili smo tehnologijo Silverlight ter načine oz. metode, ki so v določenem trenutku življenjskega cikla primernejše in pripomorejo k temu, da kar najbolje obvladujemo življenjski cikel aplikacije. Tehnologijo Silverlight smo primerjali tudi z drugimi RIA aplikacijami in prikazali prednosti in slabosti te vrste tehnologij. Predstavljeni principi so nazorno prikazani s primeri ali uporabljeni v razviti aplikaciji, ki prikazuje delo s slikami in videoposnetki. Aplikacija omogoča nalaganje datotek v podatkovno bazo in brisanje le teh v tabelaričnem prikazu. Vrtiljak slik pa prikazuje prednosti Silverlight uporabniškega vmesnika, s katerim lahko razvijemo uporabniško zelo bogate aplikacije.

SILVERLIGHT APPLICATIONS LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT
Abstract:
Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform implementation of the .NET Framework for building and delivering the next generation of media experiences and rich interactive applications for the web. It presents a boundary in development of web applications, because it combines different technologies into development platform, which enables to choose correct tools and a programming language. We have studied Silverlight technology, methods and ways, that are suitable in a definite moment of a life cycle suitable and help master the life cycle. We have compared Silverlight to other RIA applications and presented advantages and disadvantages. The methods and principles are represented by examples or are used in developed application, which enables work with pictures and videos. The application enables loading and removing files from database. Carrousel shows the advantage of Silverlight user interface, wich enables creation of user rich applications.
