Abstract:Vrtčevski otroci preživijo precej časa v prostorih vrtca, kjer so jim ponujene različne dejavnosti. Posebno pozornost v nalogi sem namenila stiku otrok z živimi organizmi. Otroku moramo omogočiti lastno raziskovanje in eksperimentiranje, saj so lastne dejavnosti ena izmed najboljših možnosti za neposredno in pristno spoznavanje okolja.

Title:PLANNIG OF SOIL FAUNA RESEARCH FOR KINDERGARTEN CHILDREN IN THE GORIČKO REGION
Abstract:Kindergarten children spend substantial time on the premises of the kindergarten, where they are offered different activities. Many activities, which also might be carried out in nature in the immediate or wider surroundings of the kindergarten, are executed inside buildings. Among these there are also themes in natural sciences, where it is important to offer a child a direct contact with the environment. My diploma is based on a field research to determine possibilities of which activities could be organized for children in nature. In Rogaševci in Goričko I explored the possibilities of such a work in practice. In a selected limestone teritorry, I settled a series of pitfall traps and I also caught animals living on plants with a catcher. Based on this research and being better introduced in insects and other small animals, I planned activities in the field of natural sciences for 3–6 years old preschool children in kindergarten. I gave particular attention to the children’s contact with the living organisms. The child must be allowed to do its own research and experimentation as these activities is one of the best way for direct and authentic learning of the environment.
